Fishing and your health.

Spending time outdoors, especially sea fishing, can have many physical and mental health benefits. Having a bit of time to reflect this winter, I thought I’d write this post with more information about why getting onboard Deep Blue Charters can improve your overall health.

According to the National Angling Survey, 72% of anglers in the UK said that angling helped to keep them healthy, 27% said it was their main way of being physically active, and 70% said it helped them deal with stress. Here are some of the benefits of sea fishing:

𝐏𝐡𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐁𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐟𝐢𝐭𝐬:

𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐬𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡: Sea fishing is a great way to get your heart pumping and improve your cardiovascular health. The physical activity involved in fishing, such as casting and reeling, can help to strengthen your heart and lungs.

𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐜𝐥𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡: Fishing requires the use of many different muscle groups, including your arms, shoulders, back, and legs. Regular fishing can help to build and tone these muscles, leading to improved strength and endurance.

𝐕𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐧 𝐃: Spending time outdoors in the sun can help your body produce vitamin D, which is essential for healthy bones, teeth, and muscles.

𝐌𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐁𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐟𝐢𝐭𝐬:

𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐑𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐟: Fishing can be a relaxing and meditative activity that helps to reduce stress and anxiety. The peacefulness of the water and the sound of the waves can have a calming effect on the mind and body.

𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐝 𝐌𝐨𝐨𝐝: Being outdoors and engaging in physical activity can help to boost your mood and increase feelings of happiness and well-being.

𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: Fishing can be a great way to connect with others and build social connections. Whether you go fishing with friends or join a local fishing club, it can be a fun and rewarding way to meet new people and build relationships.

Basically, sea fishing is a great way to improve your physical and mental health. It can help to reduce stress, improve cardiovascular health, build muscle strength, and boost your mood and well-being.

So, why not grab your fishing rod and head out to the coast for a day of fishing and relaxation? 🎣🌊
